2019-20 JUCO Player of the Year, Felmas Koranga debuted for Troy in an impressive outing against Middle Tennessee. Koranga finished with 14 points and 9 rebounds. She also made her Troy University home debut on 20th December 2020, inside the state-of-the-art Trojan Arena. The Trojans brag of an undefeated streak at home against all non-conference teams. The record stands at 7-0 from early this year. A record similar to this was set in 2018 after winning 9 home games, clear case of defending the honour of a home court.

Methodist had threatened to strip this honour on the 20th of December, taking a comfortable lead in the first half of the game. Trojans however had a strong comeback from which their opponents could not recover. They put up an impressive 13-0 run in the third quarter propelling them to a 19 point win. Alexus, Felmas, and Dunlop played a pivotal role in bagging the hard fought win. The trio garnered 56 points. Felmas recorded her first double double as a Trojan with 14 points and 11 rebounds. She averages 14 points and 10 rebounds in her first two games. Under the able steering of Coach Rigby, we hope to see Koranga’s game blossom.
The Trojans took a break for the holidays and are set to get back on New years eve and face off with Appalachian State to kick off the Sun Belt Conference season. The Mountaineers are the next visitors in line.
