The FIBA Afrobasket draw was done in Kigali earlier this evening, and the basketball gods placed Kenya in group C. Other countries in Group C are Nigeria, Mali and Ivory Coast.
As usual Kenya will go in as the underdogs, but the Morans’ record of upsetting big teams may continue. Kenya will be under the leadership of Coach Liz Mills, who enters the competition as the only female head coach in the Afrobasket. The focus will now shift to the preparation and training camp.
