Speaking about the involvement of EABL in the tournament, EABL’s Head of Media Futures Waithera Kabiru lauded the organisers of the tournament for the consistency exhibited all through the years.
“I congratulate the Royal Nairobi Golf Club for achieving this incredible milestone; 97 years and counting is by no means a small feat. It takes a great deal of dedication and commitment to successfully organize and host a tournament of this stature for such a long period of time.”
A total of nine teams participated in the tournament, which returned to its traditional Eastern season.
