Heartbreaking ordeal for Equity hawks as they fall in the semifinals to REG from Rwanda 52-40. Hawks put up a spirited fight behind Betty Kananu 15 points and 11 rebounds, Christine Akinyi added 10 points but it wasn’t enough get that precious win. Muganza Nyota of REG dropped 23 points and 22 rebounds on a dominant performance to send REG to the semifinals.
Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) were at their best against Vijana Queens winning their quarterfinals match 74-29. Victoria Reynolds with her offensive prowess continued to impress, as she powered KPA’s offense dropping 10 points. Brittany Nicole and Okot Madina added 12 points each.
Equity will play in a classification match against Young Sisters from Burundi while Nile Legends will square up against host’s Vijana Queens.
KPA will face APR in a mouth watering semifinals battle while ASC will go against REG in another semifinals match.
