KPA Wins Silver While Equity Settles For 5th Position  

The two Kenyan teams that took part in the zone V club Championship in Tanzania put up exemplary performances. Equity bank who lost their quarterfinals match to REG took care of business in their classification game against Vijana Queens to finish 5th.
KPA put up a spirited fight against eventual champions ASC but fell 78-67 in a game where tournament Allstar Victoria Reynolds dropped 21 points. Kristina Morgan efforts with 18 points and 9 rebounds for KPA was still not enough to close the game in favor of the dockers. With the second place finish KPA still qualifies to play in the final tour later on in the year.
