All roads lead to Mombasa this weekend as KNBL action continues. Equity Bank teams, Hawks and Dumas will be in Mombasa on the 8th and 9th.
What’s at stake?
Well a lot is at stake with a better playoffs positioning being of paramount importance and also findings that rhythm as the postseason approaches.
Hawks were without their key players the last time these two teams met in the first round. This times the Hawks will walk into the Makande gymnasium with all their canons loaded ready to sink the dockers ship. Captain Melissa Akinyi while speaking to Th3 Doctor’s Report noted that, the team morale is on a high and Hawks are looking forward to a good match up.

“Kpa is a good side with loads of experience.
As Hawks, we have been working on our team chemistry as the main focus as the playoffs approaches. We want to finish strong since this is our second last regular season game”. She added.

The Hawks play KPA on Saturday 8th, 2pm at the Makande Gymnasium.
On the other hand Equity Dumas are looking to put an end to KPA’S recent dominance in the league. The star studded Dumas will face KPA in a mouth watering fixture Saturday 8th at 4pm. Both sides are focusing on finishing the regular season on a high and getting the much needed momentum heading into the postseason. Docker guard Eugene Adera believes the Mombasa based side have what it takes to take care of business.

“My teammates are ready, its not gonna be an easy matchup but i believe if we run and execute our sets then we will come out victorious”. He reiterated.

Equity Dumas captain Faheem Juma responded in few words, giving a confirmation that Equity Bank Dumas, are ready for the challenge.
Sunday the Dockers will be welcoming Eagle Wings and Umoja basketball teams. In Nairobi Thunder will be battling UON terror while Zetech Sparks looking to shine against Eldonets. Sunday will see Storms take on JKUAT Lynx. All games in Nairobi will be at UON grounds.
