Kenya Basketball Playoffs Finals action gave us all the hype we needed, defending champions KPA dominated game 1 and 2 against varsity side Zetech Sparks. KPA won game 1 68-38 and closed out game two in a similar manner with a 70-38 win.
The first quarter in both games was close contest however the experienced dockers who take pride in their defense put the clamps on Zetech and the rest was history.
Ifunanya Okoro led all scorers in game 1 with 17 points while Natalie Akinyi and Belinda Okoth contributed 13 points each.
Youngster Madina Okot managed to grab 17 boards however she struggled on the offensive side where she managed to score 4 points. In game Belinda Okoth led all scorers with 22 points while the two guards Natalie Akinyi and Ifunanya Okoro added 18 and 17 points respectively.

The series will shift to Mombasa where KPA will look to complete their unbeaten run this season by clinching the win in game 3. Game 3 will be on the 3rd with game 4 and 5 if necessary will be played on the 4th and 5th.
