The Kenya Basketball Federation through their president Paul Otula Today released the Morans Provisional Squad to prepare for the upcoming FIBA AfroCan Championship that will be held in Angola in July. The 29 man squad will start preparations 10th June. Below is the statement from the federation.

The Kenya National Basketball Men’s Team- The Morans will be playing the Afrocan tournament in July of 2023. The Morans have directly qualified for this tournament having been finalists in the inaugural tournament in 2019. The Afrocan tournament is a tournament that seeks to encourage and develop players who play in leagues within Africa therefore a huge number of players will be drawn from the Kenyan local league and the leagues within Africa.
 
Ladies and Gentlemen the Kenya Basketball Federation has enlisted the following to be on the training camp that is set to commence on Saturday 10th June, 2023.
