It has been a busy offseason In the Kenyan basketball circles, the Kenya Morans are preparing for AfroCan 2023 and lots of tournaments happening all around the country. This coming weekend, the highly anticipated Sterling Cup Under-23 tournament will kick off at the Nyayo gymnasium. The U23 women basketball tournament will feature 10 teams who will compete for 200,000 Kenya Shillings. The four days tournament will Kick Off on Thursday 6th and will run till Sunday 9th. Sterling Cup U23 main purpose is to bring together talented young basketball stars from various teams providing them with a platform to showcase their skills and compete among each other.
Sterling sporting company under Job Waka aims to promote and Nurture sports among the younger generation. It serves as a pathway for emerging players to gain invaluable experience, hone their skills, and potentially catch the attention of colleges overseas, professional clubs and national team selectors.

The U23 tournament will have ten teams;

◦ Th3 Swish WBB
◦ Strathmore University
◦ JKUAT
◦ USIU
◦ Footprints
◦ ANU
◦ Beez
◦ Lady Rebels
◦ Scarlets

The finals will be on Sunday 9th at the Nyayo Gymnasium.
